CDC Environmental Health Training in Emergency Response (Condensed Version): Food Safety, Potable Water and Shelters Modules

Sunday, June 8 (pre-conference)

8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (approximately)

Tucson Convention Center

Description:

This invaluable training will benefit federal, tribal, state, and local environmental health practitioners involved in disaster response to potable water, food safety and shelter issues. The training will provide environmental health responders with an introduction to their roles in disaster response related to food safety, potable water and shelters. The training includes lecture, hands-on, and demonstration components. Attendees will participate in exercises for assessing food safety, potable water, and shelter operations in disasters.

Pre-Conference Workshop Registration

If you wish to register for the Symposium and a Pre-Conference Workshop , go to Online Registration, and during the registration process you will be directed to an Options page where you will be able to choose Pre-Conference sessions.

If you wish to register for  the Pre-Conference only, go to Online Registration and when asked to select a conference rate choose Pre-Conference Only.  Continue with the registration process.

If you have already registered for the Symposium and wish to register for the Pre-Conference as well, please follow the directions above for Pre-Conference Only registrants.

A minimum pre-registered class size of 20 is required for each workshop to go forward. A full registration refund will be granted if minimum size is not met for a class.
