The Scientific Program Committee for the 2010 USPHS Scientific & Training Symposium invites interested parties to submit an abstract for a 15-minute Late Breaker presentation.
These presentations will be delivered on the opening day of the conference, Monday, May 24. Poster submissions are also being accepted at this time. Posters will be on display during the conference week.
The deadline for Late Breaker submissions is 5 PM ET on February 19, 2010 (deadline will not be extended).
- Late Breaker Presentations: Approved abstract submissions will be grouped with similar material by others with each presenter having 15 minutes to provide an overview of their work and answer questions. Presentations will occur on Monday afternoon May 24.
- Poster Sessions. Approved posters will be displayed during the conference on days and times to be determined. Approved submitters will have one side of a 4' (height) x 8' (width) poster board for their presentation. No additional space or materials may be used.
Submissions are sought that provide an opportunity for those engaged in public health at all levels and settings to learn about innovative and effective practices and research that relate to the meeting's overall theme. Presentations dealing with recent issues, such as the Haitian earthquake deployment, are encouraged.
