Detailed Agenda
CAPT Scott F. Dowell, MD, MPH, USPHS with the Global Disease Detection and Emergency Response section of the Coordinating Office of Global Health at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will deliver the opening keynote on Thursday. CAPT Dowell will examine the potential roles of U.S. public health personnel in responding to and mitigating emerging global disease threats
The bulk of the day will feature concurrent track sessions focusing on: Strategies for Improving Health Care in the U.S.; Strategies for Addressing the Growing International Element of Public Health; Strategies for Innovative Federally Funded Health Programs; and Strategies for Improving Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response.
