When will registration become available?
Online registration will open in early 2012.
Will Junior Officer/Civil Servant scholarships be available this year?
Junior Officer/Civil Servant scholarships are expected to again be available for Commissioned Officers of pay grade 03 or below and Civil Servants that are GS 10/11 or below in 2012. Details will be announced as they become available.
Can students attend sessions free?
Details on Student participation will be announced when they become available.
What meals are included in the registration fee?
For members, non-members, and speakers the registration rate includes breakfast and lunch on Wed and Th. For student and spouse/guest registrations the rate includes breakfast on Wed. and Th. and Lunch on Th.
Where can I make travel arrangements to and from the conference?
Travel arrangements are the responsibility of the attendee.
How many Continuing Education credits are available for my category?
Please see the Continuing Education Credits page for an overview of credits typically offered at the Symposium.

What is the address of the Exhibit Hall?
The exhibit hall will be located in the Grand Ballroom of the Adele H. Stamp Student Union Building on the University of Maryland College Park campus.

How many people can I have at my booth?
We will distribute exhibit hall passes for up to two booth personnel. You may purchase up to two additional exhibit hall passes.
How many people are expected to attend this conference?
More than 750 public health providers and administrators from the Office of Public Health Emergency Preparedness, the Bureau of Prisons, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the National Disaster Medical System, the Health Resources and Services Administration, The Indian Health Service, the National Institutes of Health, The U.S. Food and Drug Administration and other federal, state and local health care agencies are expected to attend the conference.
Will the conference planners take responsibility for any prizes that I want to distribute?
Yes, just contact La Rue Forrester at larue@leading-edge.us or by phone at 410-544-8515 and she will work with you on coordinating your prize giveaway.
What is included in the price of the booth?
All booths include 8” back wall drapes, 3” side rail drape, draped table, two chairs, signage, and exhibit hall passes for up to two booth personnel.

When is the deadline for submitting an application?
Exhibit space is sold on a first come, first serve basis. Booth space will be sold until the hall is sold out.
