Related EventsOther ActivitiesCategory Social at the San Diego ZooGo wild with fellow PHS officers and their families at the San Diego Zoo! After arrival, be whisked away on a 35 minute private guided tour of zoo grounds aboard open air double decked buses. Following the tour, head to dinner through an elevated walkway in the tree canopy. Here you will encounter some of the most rare and endangered monkeys on Earth: golden-bellied mangabeys, Schmidt’s guenons, and mandrills, one of the largest and most colorful of primates. Once in the elegant tree tops room, you will enjoy a 3 course meal with special guest Dr. Pat Morris, San Diego Zoo’s associate veterinarian. Dr. Morris will share stories about life as a zoo veterinarian and describe how zoo staff keep the animals happy and healthy. A cash bar will be served on the deck outside of the tree top room. Cost: $75 for adults; $40 for children 3-12 and children 2 and under are free. Transportation will be provided to and from the zoo and the conference center. Date: Tuesday May 25th, 6:30pm with buses leaving the conference center at 6:00pm. Hurry! Admission is limited to 120.
